Marathon Champions Guide

Download the ultimate guide to everything Marathon Kids – includes how to manage the programme and check lists for setting up.

DTS Permission Letter

GDPR guidelines have changed so you’ll need to make sure you have permission from parents/carers before adding children to the DTS (Digital Tracking System). You may have already done this by adding Marathon Kids to your own data protection permission collection process – if you have, then this is great and you’re all set to go! If not, simply download and print out this letter NOW and send to parents/carers.

Setup Checklist

Use these handy check lists to help set up Marathon Kids and keep you on track until launch day.

Colleague Engagement Document

Download or print out this “Colleague Engagement Pack” and share with staff. It tells them how to get involved and support you in delivering the programme, whilst inspiring children to participate. It may even get some of them running too!

Child Poster

Print off this child engagement poster to put up on your Marathon Kids board or in classrooms/corridors. There’s also space for you to write the number of laps per week that the children need to run to reach their goal.

Teacher Poster

Why not put this engagement poster up in the staff room? Hopefully it will engage your colleagues to get on board and support you.

Marathon Kids Flyer

Download this flyer and add it to your school newsletter to let parents know about the programme.

Let children self track their running by using our Kilometre Logs.

Winter Running Guide

This guide will help you to continue running despite the weather. You’ll also find activity games for creating an active classroom.

Marathon Kids Physical Activity Cards

Use these Physical Activity Cards as a part of your PE lessons or during the winter when running outside can be more of a challenge. If each game is played for 20 minutes, it’s the equivalent to one kilometre of running towards Marathon Kids.
